Just last week I had asked one of my senior managers to talk with me about her career. I had never done this before and began to regret the whole thing before the meeting. I just didn't know what I was going to say and what I really expected to get out of it. But it was a bit too late for regrets - I just went to the meeting.<br /><br />Well, it ended up to be one of the most inspirational meetings of my career. She gave me forty minutes of her time and talked all about her career choices, good and bad. She told me how she selects new jobs and what skills have been key in her successes.<br /><br />She, also, took time to find out what my interests were and related stories from her experiences to mine.<br /><br />I left feeling so good about work and my career choices so far.
